The County Council are running a quite effective "Tins ain't looking good" recycling campaign at the moment, so I thought it was time to do my bi-monthly (or longer) clearout. Although finding newspapers from last October with the ex-Tory leader on the front page was amusing, what was not was the non-availability of cardboard recycling facilities in the Borough. This is fine for the 18% of homeowners living in the correct area for collection, but us flat tenants outside the catchment zone who have to trek a few miles to dump our recycling end up throwing out whatever can't be taken with the rest of the household waste. Surely this defeats the whole point (never mind the Carbon Monoxide released by the car driving to and from the recycling 'Minibank')?
Marc tried not to laugh at the morning bus chatter. "So where you wanna start? 'Spoons opens at 10." "Aye, need a pasty from Greggs first." Class.

You indeed are very eco-friendly and being green, i have noted, is a common theme among your entries. Which gets me wondering: when did this all start??
