Marc 2001 You somehow managed to find this website, and it was most likely that I asked you to visit it and you therefore know me already. However, if this is not the case, you might like to know a bit about me.

So, as you might have figured out, my name is Marc and I'm a 19-year-old second year student at Lancaster University studying Computer Science & Multimedia Systems. My hometown is Southend - on - Sea, Essex where I live with my parents and sister and work in various bars as well as Southend Hospital during the holidays. I also go clubbing at home (but less often these days) at places like Tots (yes, it is as bad as they say) and Chameleon (née Adlib). It's the other side of the bar that I now see more of...

At university, I'm a member of 87.7 Bailrigg FM, and I am currently their webmaster as well as resident (!) dance DJ. I am also the treasurer and webmaster for the Jewish Society. During my first year, I lived with a mixed floor of (plus or minus) six others in Block 10, Pendle College. This year I'm living in a house near the City Centre with three other blokes and a girl from St Martin's College. Hopefully I'll be able to find some regular bar work here as well, but the other side of the bar is much more tempting... Aaah, student life!

I've been designing web pages for quite few years now, and you may wish to see some old sites that have gone into decay over the years. I play squash fairly often, although my standard has dropped somewhat in recent months. When I was at Westcliff High School for Boys I played a lot of rugby and took part in athletics, but I'm not as fit as I used to be!

I don't think that there is much left to tell. If you want to find out what I've been getting up to more regularly, then check my diary for updates or drop me an e-mail.

BTW: I'll try and get some more photos on here when I can... I'm having problems getting my hosts to enable the GD Library (which will make graphics a whole lot easier in the long run).
