I think I've always been interested in computers, from those good old days when I, and my school owned a BBC Micro. My dad works in the computer industry, so I suppose he introduced them to me.
I (well, my sister and I) currently have a Pentium P133, 16Mb Random Access Memory (RAM), 2 Megabyte (Mb) Trident Video Card (running at True Colour, 800x600), 850Mb Hard Disk Drive (HDD), 16bit Sound Card, Quad-Speed Compact Disc Read Only Memory (CD-ROM) Drive, 28.8 Kilobytes per second External Modem and a Hewlett Packard LaserJet III Printer.
We have a lot of software, which (unfortunately) run under the Windows 95 environment. Don't even begin to ask me the problems I (and everyone else) have had with it... Apart from Win95, we also have Office 97 Professional, Publisher 97, CorelDRAW 4, TurboCAD for Windows, and lots of little Internet Utilities, including Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.01.
The games I have include: Creature Shock, Descent, DOOM, DOOM ][, Duke Nukem 3D, Hexen, IndyCar Racing, Klik & Play, Outpost, PGA Tour Golf 96, Red Alert, Theme Park, Wacky Wheels and Worms. If you live locally to me, then we could have a MultiPlayer game of one of the above, if it allows...? Mail me and I should be able to arrange something.
I don't know many programming languages, but I used to know Basic, and DOS stuff. I 'specialise', however, in HTML of which I have been writing for over a year, now. I have just taught myself, with little help from other sources, and I use Notepad to design pages (yes, Notepad!), not any other crappy editors (or even good ones)...
