Aaah... The (Great) British Music Scene I'm into many types of music, but I especially hate POP, and the current chart scene. It's all the same - shite tracks on sale for less than a quid and mass publicity on every TV channel by the 'artist(s)'. They don't write or sing any of their own stuff, but the kids love it. And I hate it. A good place to go for more moaners like me are the Dotmusic Discussion Forums. I have been into the UK Garage scene for the last three or so years, but even that's beginning to piss me off due to commercialisation and working in a Garage club... I've always kept up with the Indie/Alternative scene, but even that's beginning to piss me off (the antics of Travis being a key player here). Blur are still amazing, as are Garbage. The likes of The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy are also on my A List. Anyone who has seen my room will know that I have two shelves full of CDs. Of these, only about five are singles (and even the most recent of those is about 3 years old), so I'm no hypocrite. I've been to a few concerts in my time: The Chemical Brothers, Blur, Sleeper, Suede...; and at the amazing V97 festival, I saw, amongst others, Ash, Stereophonics, Mansun, Dodgy, Kula Shaker and Blur (again).
